Allen carefully covers the Door Panel with Red Italian Leather...

Moving right along on our current project....the 1964 Chevrolet Truck! Allen began the week by upholstering the Kick Panels and Door Panels in Red Italian Leather. He has also added Stainless Steel Mesh accents and adjustable LED lighting to these panels. The Red Italian Leather provides a beautiful base for the Chrome and Stainless Steel pieces.

Allen sanding down Fiberglass on Door Panel

This week Allen has been fabricating the Door Panel design for the 1964 Chevrolet Truck.
He started with two ABS Panels, developing the unique design with various materials. Below you can see the various stages and applications of fiberglass and foam. Next he will upholster the two Door Panels in Red Italian Leather, with accents of Stainless Steel Mesh work, Chrome Door Handles, and lighting.
Please check back for the final look and pictures of the installation in the truck cab!

Allen is also fabricating the Door Pull/Arm Rests as seen below. These pieces will go in the center of the design for the Door Panel and add Depth and Dimension.

Allen has been working on the A-Pillars & fabricating the final pieces for the 1964 Chevrolet Truck. We are very close to seeing the completion of this one-of-a-kind interior & know you will LOVE the results. Below you can see the work on the A-Pillars, from Fabrication, to Foam, to Upholstery. Allen has also fabricated the Kick Panels, which will soon be Upholstered, and he is trimming the Door Windows in Red Italian Leather. Finally, he will develop & fabricate the Door Panels.

Driver's Seat in Red Italian Leather

This week has been quite busy! Allen has spent the last few days sewing out the new seats for this Custom Interior. These BMW X5 Seats have been heavily modified to be proportionate to the interior of the '64 Truck. Red Italian Leather now covers the Custom Seat & Cushion design and beautifully complements the Overall Vision for the Truck Interior.
The pictures below show the build for the seats from the foam design within the cushion area, the sewing out of multiple pieces of Red Italian Leather, to the finished product and placement into the '64 Truck.

I-Pad Installation for 1964 Chevrolet Truck

This 1964 Chevrolet Truck will have some very unique distinctions from other Classic Trucks. The '64 Chevrolet now holds a Top-Shelf Amplified I-Pad Controlled Stereo! This I-Pad will bring cutting edge technology to many functions of this one-of-a-kind interior. The owner will be able to monitor & control the Stereo System, Navigation, Speed Control, Motor Functions, etc. within this Dash Piece.

Carpet Installation for the 1964 Chevrolet Truck

This has already been a busy week for Allen, working on the 1964 Chevrolet Truck. A transformation is really starting to show. Allen has been crafting and installing the carpeting and mats for the base of the Truck Cab. Panels have been fabricated and shaped, then covered with carpeting and leather for the firewall. The carpeting has been laid on the floor, and complements the leather which is covering the Center Console.
The pictures below show the stages of installation of the carpet.

The next step of this installation will be the bezel in the dash. The bezel will surround and hold an I-Pad in the center of the dash. This is a work-in-progress. Check back for ongoing updates!

Chevrolet Truck

Here we are at the end of another work week...still moving along on the 1964 Chevrolet Truck custom interior. Allen has been building and installing pieces surrounding the seats and into the center console today. The details are a large factor in the development and fabrication of a custom interior, and Allen has delivered on this Center Console. The pictures below show the beautiful craftsmanship, melding Red Leather with Stainless Steel Mesh & Trim accents.
These pictures show the progression of the crafting of the ABS form into the early stages of upholstery, with careful padding with foam, then the application of the carefully sewn leather. Finally, the stainless steel accessories are applied.

Today we are busy fabricating pieces for the 1964 Chevrolet Truck console. Allen is using ABS, stainless steel mesh, and red leather to create a one-of-a-kind center console. Each piece is expertly crafted and connected to produce an eye-catching focal point for the center of this truck.
