Door Panels for '57

We have been working on the Door and Kick Panels for the '57!

Below you can view the "Bare Bones" of each panel fashioned out of ABS Board. Allen designs each panel and molds and fabricates the materials by hand. The accessory details will be added...prior to upholstery.

Allen worked on Panels for the Interior of the '57 Chevy today, beginning with the Rear Panels on both Driver's & Passenger's Sides. The panels were measured and fit, allowing for accessory pieces...in this case, the armrest. Below, you can view the panels prior to Upholstery.

Continuing on the '57 Bel Air Interior...Allen created a piece today to cover the mid-floor hump. After fashioning the ABS Board into a specific mold, he applied foam and Black Leather/Carpeting materials to create a one-piece cover ....carpeting still to come.

Rear Window Package Tray

Today, Allen fashioned and installed the Rear Window Package Tray. This piece fits snugly under the Rear Window and covers two recessed 6 x 9 speakers. Below, you can see the development of the build.

Since last week's '57 Chevrolet Bel Air Tear Down...Allen has been busy sewing out the new Headliner and developing the Mounting Plate for the Stereo Components.

Here, you can see the Trunk's Rear Panel. Allen is Fabricating and Upholstering the Mounting Plate for the Sub-Woofer, Amplifier, and CD Player. He has recessed the 6 X 9 Speakers in the Rear Deck to prepare for the Custom Rear Window Shelving.

'57 Chevy Sun Visors installed....Black Suede & a Little Black Leather

The Headliner and Sun Visors were crafted for the '57 Bel Air this week. The Headliner is sewn out in a Black Suede material, while the Sun Visors were covered in Black Suede and accented in Black Leather.
